Daniel Simmons, a 12th-grader at American Fork High, won the boys junior/senior race in the afternoon session at the Utah Pre-State meet, covering the 3-mile layout in 14:42.4 as the Cavemen swept the top six spots at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City.
