Ashlynn Lainhart, a 10th-grader at Maple Mountain High, won the girls freshman/sophomore race in the afternoon session at the Utah Pre-State meet, covering the 3-mile layout in 18:20.9 at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City.
